This Handmade Artwork of Amitabha Buddha stands at a height of 5.9” (15cm) with a base width of 4.3” (11cm). Crafted from a copper body. Intricate gold and acrylic paintings bring the statue's features to life, adding color and detail to the serene depiction of Amitabha Buddha. Crafted by expert artisans, this item symbolizes the rich traditions of Himalayan Buddhism, making it an important addition to altars, meditation places, or holy collections.

Amitabha is shown in a tranquil sitting stance, holding an alms bowl in his lap to symbolize renunciation and the simplicity of the enlightened life. His peaceful countenance represents the knowledge and compassion he bestows on individuals seeking rebirth in his Pure Land, Amitabha's dedication to assisting all creatures in achieving spiritual awareness and freedom is demonstrated by this gesture.

Amitabha, also called Amida, shines as the Buddha of Infinite Light and Life in Mahayana and Pure Land Buddhism. He dwells in the Western Pure Land of Sukhavati—a joyful realm of awakening. Known for his heartfelt vow, Amitabha promises to welcome all who sincerely call his name, granting them rebirth in this blissful land where enlightenment is within reach. Devotees often chant his name, making this practice a cornerstone of Pure Land devotion.

Introduction To Amitabha Buddha :

In the Pure Land sects of Mahayana Buddhism, Amitabha is sometimes referred to as Amitayus, the great savior Buddha. Amitabha is worshipped as one of the five "self-born" Buddhas (Dhyani Buddhas) who have been forever; however, he was never as well-known as a savior figure in Tibet and Nepal as he was in East Asia. Amitabha bestows longevity, earning him the name Amitayus, or "Infinite Life." In China and Japan, the two names are frequently used interchangeably; however, in Tibet, the two are never confused, and Amitayus is worshipped in a specific rite to achieve long life.

How do you take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
• Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
