Tapihritsa was a great realized master of the ancient Yungdrung Bön tradition and one of the most revered teachers of Dzogchen. Born in the sacred land of Zhang Zhung, he followed the guidance of his teacher Dawa Gyaltsen and devoted his life to deep meditation and spiritual practice. After years of discipline and realization, Tapihritsa attained the rainbow body, a supreme state of enlightenment where the physical body dissolves into pure light. He is honored as a symbol of pure awareness, inner peace, wisdom, and liberation, guiding practitioners toward the natural state of mind.
