Introduction of Vajra and Bell Set

The vajra, meaning 'diamond' or 'lightning' in Sanskrit, is a symbol and ritual instrument deeply rooted in Hinduism and the Buddhist tradition of Vajrayana ('diamond way'), from which it takes its name. The Tibetan Dorje represents indestructibility and efficiency, overcoming all obstacles. Symbolically, the Dorje Vajra destroys ignorance. In Tibetan Buddhist rituals, the vajra is often paired with a bell, representing masculine and feminine energies, yin and yang, and the balance between practical action and compassion.
