Sacred Buddhist Decor for Altars and Spiritual Spaces
About our Stupa :
This hand-carved brass stupa is a powerful symbol of Buddhist philosophy and spirituality. This finely sculpted stupa, measuring 14 cm in height by 8 cm in breadth and weighing only 0.32 kg, reflects the spiritual essence of meditation and Enlightenment. Its artificial turquoise accents add visual appeal while representing tranquility and wisdom.
The stupa's classic dome-shaped design depicts the Buddha's meditation pose, with the base representing crossed legs, the mound representing the upper body, and the pinnacle depicting the head. This stupa is ideal for altars, meditation places, or as a thoughtful gift. It serves as a strong reminder of the Four Noble Truths and the path to Enlightenment. Its brass structure promises longevity and ageless beauty, making it an invaluable addition to any spiritual or decorative collection.
Introduction To The Stupa :
Great teachers were buried in mounds before Buddhism. Some were cremated, but others were buried sitting in a contemplative manner. They were hidden behind the earthen mound. As a result, the stupa's domed shape depicted a person seated in meditation, much like the Buddha was when he attained Enlightenment and understanding of the Four Noble Truths. The stupa's base depicts his crossed legs as he reclined in a contemplative attitude. The center of the mound depicts the Buddha's body, while the top of the mound, where a pole rises from the pinnacle and is surrounded by a little fence, represents his head. Before the development of depictions of the person Buddha, reliefs frequently represented practitioners exhibiting devotion to a stupa.
