Handmade 24k Gold Gilded Vajrasattva Guru Statue
We are the modern descendants of a century-old Buddhist Himalayan art form of sculpting sacred statues. Our master artisans sculpted this beautifully hand-carved Tibetan Dorje Sempa statue in our studio, in Kathmandu, Nepal using a copper body gilded with genuine 24k gold. We depicted a deity seated on the top of a moon disc lotus seat with a serene expression, holding a vajra in his right hand and a bell in his left.
This ideal statue can be a great gift for your meditation practice.
Size: 8.6"/22cm (Height) x 6.2"/16cm (Base)
Weight: 1.55 kg
Material: 24K Gold Gilded, Copper Body, Acrylic Paintings
Dorje Gyan, or "Vajra Ornament," is the Vajrasattva root tantra in Tibetan Buddhism. Vajrasattva practices are used in Tibetan Buddhism to clear obscurations so that Vajrayana students can progress beyond Ngondro practices to the various tantric yoga practices, as well as to clear any broken samaya vows after initiation. As a result, Vajrasattva practice is a necessary component of Tibetan Buddhist practice.
