Padmasambhava, or Guru Rinpoche, meaning 'Precious Master,' is a seminal figure in Tibetan Buddhism, celebrated for his miraculous powers, profound teachings, and the establishment of Buddhism in Tibet. His legacy, encompassing numerous teachings, miracles, and terma (hidden treasures), continues to inspire and guide practitioners on the path to awakening. Invoking Padmasambhava in practice is believed to foster protection, guidance, and spiritual awakening, making his presence a source of inspiration and refuge for devotees.

Introduction to Guru Rinpoche:

Guru Rinpoche, also known as Padmasambhava, is a significant figure in Tibetan Buddhism, having established Vajrayana Buddhism in Tibet and incorporating indigenous traditions. He is depicted as a royal figure holding a vajra and a skull cup, evoking the virtues of all Buddhas and bodhisattvas. His mantra, "Om Ah Hum Vajra Guru Padma Siddhi Hum," is used to invoke blessings and protection. Guru Rinpoche's teachings and practices have great significance in the Nyingma tradition, where he is revered as the originator.

How do you take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
• Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
