Tibetan Green Tara Thangka, Goddess of Compassion | Tara of Swift Protection and Healing

The Green Tara Thangka, a Goddess of Compassion, is meticulously hand-painted on cotton canvas using natural stone pigments and 24K gold and is created with devotion. The use of stone colors, gold accents, and traditional methods enriches the artwork's brightness and spiritual aura. Created in the esteemed Karma Gadri style, each brushstroke embodies precision, purity, and the serene energy associated with Green Tara.

Green Tara, a highly revered female Buddha in Tibetan Buddhism, is known as the swift rescuer and the embodiment of boundless compassion. She is believed to guide practitioners towards bravery and insight while shielding them from fear, hardship, and danger. Her green hue signifies enlightened activity and her persistent willingness to help relieve human suffering. Worshippers seek her blessings for protection, healing, courage, and kindness. In this thangka, she is depicted sitting gracefully on a blooming lotus, with her right leg extended to symbolize her readiness to aid all living beings. She holds a utpala flower in one hand, symbolizing purity, while her other hand performs a blessing gesture. Delicate details, gentle shading, and detailed gold accents emphasize the artwork's purity and the artist's skill. It makes an ideal addition to home altars, meditation spaces, or any environment with a spiritual ambiance.
