Before applying these colors in precise layers, artists manually crush and blend them. Genuine 24K gold adds warmth and brightness to the composition while highlighting Tara's jewels, halo, throne, and sacred features.  This thangka, which was painted in accordance with the Karma Gadri tradition, has delicate linework, roomy equilibrium, and elegant tonal transitions.

Green Tara, also known as Shyamatara, is one of the most revered forms of the deity in the context of Tibetan Buddhism and is revered for her swift and compassionate protection. She is a deity of mercy and can vanquish fear and danger while providing immediate help to those who need it. She is depicted sitting on a lotus with one leg stretched out and can jump into action at a moment’s notice. Her association with the color green represents her deep association with the earth and her ability to remove obstacles with speed and efficiency. Her mantra is widely recited to seek her blessings and overcome physical, emotional, and spiritual challenges. She represents the loving and compassionate aspect of Buddha’s wisdom and provides healing and peace to all who seek her blessings. Her figure represents the potential of compassion and awareness to overcome the obstacles of life.
