About Our Statue :
Standing 12.5 cm tall, this exquisite gold-plated Dipankar Buddha statue is one of the first Buddhas to foretell the arrival of Shakyamuni Buddha. This standing figure, which was sculpted from a copper body and exquisitely electroplated, represents elegance, spiritual foresight, and eternal peace. Its 0.25 kg weight suits your altar, holy shelf, or meditation area. It serves as a daily reminder of the enduring nature of enlightenment.
Dipankar Buddha is shown in a flowing robe with elaborate details in a traditional teaching and blessing motion. His composed demeanor and well-proportioned stance reflect inner tranquility and ageless knowledge. Dipankar, revered particularly in Mahayana and Vajrayana traditions, is credited for illuminating the way for upcoming Buddhas and assisting practitioners in reaching their enlightenment. This glowing figurine is a lovely addition to any sacred collection and a spiritual treasure.
Introduction To Dipankar Buddha :
Dipankara is a historical Buddha who is supposed to have lived for a hundred thousand years on Earth. The number of Buddhas that have existed in theory is tremendous, and they are sometimes referred to as "Thousand Buddhas." Each was responsible for a life cycle. According to specific Buddhist sources, Dipankara (also Dipamkara) was a Buddha who attained enlightenment eons before Gautama. Dipankara is usually shown as a seated Buddha, but standing Buddhas are widespread in China, Thailand, and Nepal; he usually forms a protective mudra (Abhaya mudra) with his right hand, but he sometimes makes it with both hands.
How do take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is completely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching with the bare hand objects can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
