Introduction To Gautama Buddha :
Gautama Buddha also known as Shakyamuni Buddha, is the ancient Sanskrit word ‘Buddha’ means ‘having become awoken ‘in the sense of having attained ‘supreme awareness’. It is closely related to the term ‘Bodhi’ which refers to awareness. The serene & sublime image of Gautama embodies a condition of compassionate understanding, of an awoken illuminated mind.
Shakyamuni Buddha is considered to be a model, a guide, and an inspiration. It is said that his presence on earth is ensured by the “dharma” or spiritual belief and by the “sanga” or Buddhist community. Together they form what is referred to as the 3 jewels of Buddhism (Buddha, Dharma, and Sanga)
