Four-Armed Chengrezig features Manjushri and Vajrapani, Buddhist deities symbolizing compassion, wisdom, and power. Chengrezig, also known as Avalokiteshvara, is serene and compassionate, holding a lotus flower, a prayer bead, and a vase containing immortality nectar. Manjushri, the Bodhisattva of Wisdom, holds a flaming sword to cut through ignorance and a lotus bearing the Prajnaparamita sutra, symbolizing wisdom. Vajrapani, the Bodhisattva of Power, is dynamic and holds a vajra, symbolizing the power to overcome obstacles.
This Chengrezig Thangka is ideal for meditation and contemplation, offering inspiration and guidance through the virtues of compassion, wisdom, and power.
