Female Buddha of Longevity | White Tara For Vitality and Immortality
Embodying the Blessings of the Female Buddha of Longevity | A Guide to Health and Eternal Life
The Female Buddha of Longevity, White Tara, is portrayed with serene grace, symbolizing healing, compassion, and the blessing of a long life. The natural stone colors create an earthy palette that links the artwork to the spiritual legacy of Tibetan Buddhism. The addition of 24K gold accents heightens the divine presence of the deity, representing purity and enlightenment. Hand-painted on durable cotton canvas, this artwork ensures lasting vibrancy and fine detail. The materials used in the thangka are carefully chosen to preserve the artwork's visual beauty while also reflecting the sacred symbolism of the Female Buddha.
The Female Buddha is a revered figure in Tibetan Buddhism, symbolizing health, vitality, and immortality. Seated in the lotus position (padmasana), she radiates peace and spiritual wisdom. Her posture reflects deep meditation and a harmonious connection with the universe’s sacred energies. With her right hand in the Varada mudra, she offers blessings of longevity, well-being, and spiritual strength. In her left hand, she holds a Pundarika (white lotus), symbolizing purity and enlightenment. Depicted with seven eyes, on her face, palms, and soles, she sees the suffering of all beings, embodying deep compassion and watchful care. This thangka captures her essence as a healing protector and enlightened guide.
