About Our Product
This Gold Plated Vajrasattva Statue is a sacred representation of Vajrasattva, the enlightened Buddha of purification in Tibetan Buddhist tradition. Expertly crafted from a copper body with 24K gold plated finishing and detailed acrylic coloring, this statue embodies purity, clarity, and spiritual transformation. Seated in a calm meditative posture upon a lotus base, it radiates peaceful awareness and is ideal for altar spaces, meditation rooms, and devotional practice.
Vajrasattva is revered as the embodiment of cleansing and purification, known for removing negative karma, emotional obscurations, and inner impurities. In this depiction, he is shown holding the vajra at his heart, symbolizing indestructible wisdom and the union of compassion and clarity. His peaceful expression reflects inner stillness and awakened awareness, while the flowing ornaments and sacred details emphasize his enlightened nature and purity of mind.
This Vajrasattva Statue is used for meditation, mantra recitation, and purification practices. It is especially associated with cleansing negative energy and restoring spiritual balance. Placing it in a sacred space is believed to support healing, clarity, and deep inner transformation, making it a powerful addition to any Buddhist altar or spiritual collection.
Introduction To Vajrasattva
Vajrasattva is typically regarded as the second patriarch in the Shingon Buddhist lineage, the first being Vairocana Buddha. According to Kukai's writings in Record of the Dharma Transmission, Nagarjuna encountered Vajrasatva in an iron tower in southern India, based on Amoghavajra's testimony. As recounted in the Mahavairocana Sutra, Vajrasatva inducted Nagarjuna into the abhiseka ceremony and entrusted him with the esoteric teachings he had gained from Vairocana Buddha. Kukai doesn't go into detail on Vajrasatva or his beginnings.
