Green Tara, also known as "She Who Saves," is deeply revered in Tibetan Buddhism as the swift liberator from suffering and fear. This thangka depicts Green Tara standing, signifying her readiness to step forward and assist sentient beings without hesitation. Her green color represents active compassion, and she holds a blue lotus (utpala flower), symbolizing purity and spiritual awakening. Encircled by vibrant flora, elephants, and mythical creatures, the painting reinforces her dynamic energy and protective grace.
This Standing Green Tara painting is a sacred expression of divine feminine energy, carefully designed to inspire inner strength and serenity. Whether on a personal altar or in a yoga studio, it serves as a visual blessing and meditative tool rooted in centuries of tradition.
