The Enlightenment The stupa is one of the most venerated symbols in Tibetan Buddhism, encompassing the path to Buddhahood with its profound architectural structure. The throne at the base represents the Buddha's body, which symbolizes the foundation of wisdom and compassion. The four steps above represent Buddhist teachings that guide practitioners to Bodhichitta—the awakened mind. The harmika, positioned in the center, signifies the Noble Eightfold Path necessary for gaining freedom from suffering. The dome (bhumpa) is regarded as the Buddha's heart, representing boundless compassion and wisdom.

Introduction  To Buddha Stupa :

The stupa represents the Buddhist Universe, sometimes square and sometimes round, with spires or steps on the capital. A Stupa is a tower or steeple erected atop Hindu and Tibetan Buddhist temples. The Stupa symbolizes the elementary organization of the universe according to Hindu cosmology. Each spire or step represents a heaven, the uppermost portion being a point that is supposed to be the highest peak of Mount Sumeru. It is composed of four parts, symbolizing the five elements: Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. On the four sides of the Stupa are the figures of four Dhyani Buddhas.

How to set up your own Buddhist Shrine?

•    Set up an altar table, and cover it with an altar cloth that calls to you
•    Place your sacred item at the center
•    If you want a more elaborate altar, you can put a Stupa as well.
