The Buddhist Goddess White Tara of Compassion and Healing is a revered figure in Tibetan Buddhism, symbolizing purity, wisdom, and long life. This statue, created in Patan, Nepal, represents the skilled artisans. Standing 8.9 inches tall with a 7.1-inch base, the figure is made of oxidized copper and has a silver-plated finish. These materials provide a harmonious balance of power resulting in a timeless piece of religious art.
She is depicted seated in the full lotus posture (padmasana), which symbolizes perfection and stability. White Tara's hands are in the vitarka (teaching) and abhaya (fearlessness) mudras, signifying her role in giving wisdom and providing safety. Her eyes, which are commonly represented as seven, one on her forehead, two on her palms, and two on the soles of her feet represent her ability to observe all being's suffering and compassion for them. The lotus seat represents purity, and her calm smile depicts the tranquility and healing she brings.
Size: 8.9”/22.5cm (Height) x 7.1”/18cm (Base)

Material: Oxidized Copper Body, Silver Plated
White Tara (also known as Dolma) is a Female Buddhist Buddha. White Tara appears as a female bodhisattva and goddess to benefit every living being. According to mythology, she was created from Avalokiteshvara's tear, which dropped to the earth and formed a lake. A lotus arose from its waters, which, when opened, showed the goddess. She, like Avalokiteshvara, is a kind, calming divinity who assists men in their quest to "cross to the other shore."

Start ShoppingI had a wonderful experience purchasing a Sri Yantra brass wall hanging from this seller. The product is beautiful, well-crafted, and exactly what I was looking for. The seller’s service was excellent from start to finish.
The packaging was done with great care, and the item arrived safely in a well-protected wooden box. I really appreciated the attention to detail, especially for such a special and delicate piece. The shipment also arrived on time, which made the whole experience even better.
I highly recommend this seller to anyone looking for quality products, careful packaging, and reliable service. I am very happy with my purchase and would gladly buy from them again.
Looks and feels great 👍
Really enjoyed my experience receiving our Tonka.. We were more than happy with how ours came out! You will be too...
The statue came in excellent condition! I was worried especially since I had it consecrated before shipping (which evamratna offers for a fee if you ask!) But the statue came perfectly. Also, it was way bigger than I anticipated which was a lovely surprise, because usually the statues come smaller than I thought when initially buying them. These statues are pricy, but I recommend having at least one in your collection if you can afford it. You’re also supporting local Nepalese craftsmen, and the price I find is reasonable for most people.
Beautiful statue!
