Buddhist Panas Set
About Our Panas Set
Our butter lamp is also known as Panas. Given how narrow the top is, it is likely that it served as a platform for an oil-and-wick lamp. However, use-related burn marks can be seen on the top portion. The broad base has a beaded rim, a fluted bottom portion with lotus petals, a narrow waist, and a lotus at the central portion, and the top container sits on an inverted lotus. '
Introduction to Panas Set
In the Newar culture, panas, a traditional oil lamp, is frequently utilized in homes, temples, and the opening days of new businesses, gatherings, or other events to promote success. In Nepal, it is also utilized for ceremonial rituals. This intricately detailed handcrafted brass oil lamp has a beautiful design and good looks. This item enhances the beauty and elegance of your worship space or Puja room. This item can also be utilized as decor in hotels and other establishments.
