Shakyamuni Buddha Life Story from 1980
This rare vintage thangka of Buddha Life story was procured in the 1980's, perfectly maintained and kept for all these years is available for you. Shakyamuni Buddha is depicted in this thangka together with the two main disciples as it appears in the most classical representations.
Buddha is seated in vajra posture on a white moon disc and lotus.
Shakyamuni Buddha was an educator upon whose lessons the establishments for Wholesome Dharma were shaped. He is respected as the Supreme Buddha and is the primary edified person to be idolized walking on Two Legs.
The community of Buddhist monks and nuns (the Sangha) that followed The Buddha’s footsteps, helped pass on the Dharma teachings after he died and that’s why so many centuries later, we are still inspired by his teachings.
