This Himalayan Black Oxidized Manjushri Statue, also known as the Bodhisattva of Wisdom, stands at 5.5”/14cm in height and 4.1”/10.5cm at the base, weighing 0.47 kg. Made from an oxidized copper body and silver-plated surface, this piece reflects a balanced contrast of dark and light tones. Expertly handcrafted by skilled Nepali artisans, it offers a compact yet striking presence, ideal for meditation spaces, study areas, or personal altars.

Manjushri, the revered Bodhisattva of Wisdom, is depicted seated gracefully upon a lotus and moon disc throne—symbols of spiritual purity, stability, and liberation from illusion. The lotus rising from murky waters represents wisdom emerging from ignorance, while the moon disc evokes mental clarity and tranquility brought forth by awakened insight. In his right hand, Manjushri brandishes a flaming sword, embodying the piercing power of wisdom to cut through delusion, ignorance, and illusion, revealing the true nature of reality. His left hand performs the Vitarka Mudra, the gesture of teaching and intellectual discussion, affirming his role as a transmitter of profound Dharma. Near his left arm blooms a lotus flower, upon which rests the Prajñāpāramitā Sutra—a sacred scripture representing the perfection of transcendent wisdom that leads to enlightenment. Adorned in divine ornaments that reflect his celestial qualities, he also wears a crown representing the Five Dhyani Buddhas, each symbolizing one of the five wisdoms (pañca-jñāna) that dissolve ignorance and illuminate the path to spiritual awakening. Introduction To Manjushri :

Manjushri means "very auspicious" in Sanskrit. Manjushri, one of the compassion bodhisattvas, is more famous among Tibetan Buddhists. He, as the Buddha Resplendent, resembles a brilliant sun. Manjushri is a Tibetan name that means "good companion." He also represents the Kadampa Buddhist tradition, recognized by its scholars.

How do you take care of your statues?

Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
Ensure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
Do not use your bare hands or any objects with rough surfaces to wipe your face. Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
