It is hand-painted with vibrant acrylic colors on cotton canvas and features 24K gold details, adhering to the traditional Karma Gadri style.
The thangka features White Tara seated in the vajra posture on a lotus seat and moon disc, symbolizing purity and spiritual awakening. She holds a pundarika (lotus flower) in her left hand, representing enlightenment, while her right hand gestures in a mudra of granting blessings. Her white body symbolizes purity and compassion, adorned with delicate jewelry and a five-jeweled crown that signifies her enlightened status. Her seven eyes consist of the two regular eyes on her face, a third eye on her forehead, two on the palms of her hands, and two more on the soles of her feet. These symbolize her all-seeing compassion, vigilance, and ability to perceive suffering everywhere, offering protection and healing to all beings.
