Hand-Painted Traditional Bodhisattva Chenrezig | Infinite Compassion and Mercy
The Traditional Bodhisattva Chenrezig Thangka is a detailed, sacred artwork, hand-painted on high-quality cotton canvas using natural stone pigments and accented with 24K gold. Made in the Karma Gadri style, it embodies the divine energy of Chenrezig, the Bodhisattva of Compassion. The use of genuine gold emphasizes his enlightened aura, while natural stone colors provide richness and clarity to his calm figure. Every part of this thangka is meticulously crafted to reflect his boundless compassion and mercy.
Chenrezig, also known as Avalokiteshvara, is one of the most revered Bodhisattvas in Mahayana Buddhism. He embodies infinite compassion and is frequently depicted with multiple arms, symbolizing his limitless capacity to reach out to all beings and alleviate suffering. In this thangka, he is depicted seated on a lotus throne, surrounded by lotus flowers, which symbolize purity and spiritual growth. His composed expression and elegant posture exude peace, wisdom, and protection, bestowing divine blessings of healing and compassion. This Thangka functions not only as a magnificent work of art but also as a spiritual instrument for invoking the transformative power of Chenrezig. Possessing this sacred thangka in your residence may invite the protective and healing energies of the Bodhisattva of Compassion into your life.
