About Our Product
This Himalayan Shakyamuni Buddha Statue is meticulously handcrafted from a copper body with 24K gold plating and delicate acrylic color highlights. Standing 33cm tall and weighing 3.06kg, it carries a commanding presence while radiating calm and serenity. Perfect for meditation spaces, home altars, or spiritual displays, the statue captures the essence of Shakyamuni Buddha as a symbol of wisdom, compassion, and enlightened presence. Its richly detailed robes and lotus base bring a sacred, devotional aesthetic to any setting.
The statue portrays Shakyamuni Buddha seated in the traditional meditation posture, with the right hand in Bhumisparsha Mudra, symbolizing the moment of enlightenment when he called the earth to witness his awakening. The left hand rests gently in his lap holding an alms bowl, representing mindfulness, generosity, and the spiritual discipline of the monastic path. The serene facial expression, gentle gaze, and harmonious proportions reflect inner peace and the embodiment of awakened wisdom.
Intricate design elements such as the raised ushnisha, finely patterned robe, and lotus petal motifs on the base highlight the craftsmanship and spiritual symbolism of this piece. This Shakyamuni Buddha statue serves as a meditative focal point, inspiring reflection, compassion, and mindfulness. It is ideal for personal altars, ritual use, or as a meaningful spiritual gift for practitioners and collectors alike.
Introduction to Shakyamuni Buddha :
Siddhartha Gautama was raised as a king following the wishes of his royal father and was born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom. At about 29, he learned of the immense suffering of others. He renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune to discover the source of the anguish and find a cure. After over six years of study, self-denial, and tremendous concentration, he finally achieved his objective. He had attained nirvana (a Buddha). He then asserted that he had visited a deer park outside Varanasi, India's Sarnath (Benares).
