About Our Ritual Item:

This Sacred Stupa Containing Amitābha Buddha is a beautifully handcrafted piece of Buddhist art, radiating both spiritual depth and artistic excellence. Measuring 32.5 cm in height and weighing 1.66 kg, it is made from a copper body richly gold-plated and intricately adorned with turquoise inlay. At its heart rests a finely sculpted Amitābha Buddha, seated in meditation, symbolizing infinite light, boundless compassion, and spiritual awakening.

The design features intricate carvings and layered motifs, with the stupa’s tiers rising gracefully to a crown topped by a crescent moon and sun disc—representing wisdom, compassion, and the enlightened path. Every detail, from the jewel-like turquoise embellishments to the sacred figure enshrined within, reflects traditional Tibetan artistry and devotion. Its presence enhances meditation practices and serves as a meaningful addition to any sacred space.

This Amitābha Buddha stupa with gold plating and turquoise detail represents harmony, mindfulness, and protection. Whether placed on a home altar, meditation room, or as part of a Buddhist collection, it creates an atmosphere of peace and reverence. It is also a thoughtful gift for practitioners and admirers of Buddhist culture, carrying blessings of enlightenment and compassion into any environment.

Introduction  To  Stupa :

Before Buddhism, great teachers were buried in mounds. Some were cremated, but sometimes they were buried in a seated, meditative position. The mound of earth covered them up. Thus, the domed shape of the stupa came to represent a person seated in meditation, much as the Buddha was when he achieved Enlightenment and knowledge of the Four Noble Truths. The base of the stupa represents his crossed legs as he sat in a meditative pose. The middle portion is the Buddha’s body, and the top of the mound, where a pole rises from the apex surrounded by a small fence, represents his head. Before images of the human Buddha were created, reliefs often depicted practitioners demonstrating devotion to a stupa.
