About Our Product

This Sacred Shakyamuni Buddha Statue is crafted from a copper body with 24K gold plating and acrylic color detailing, making it a meaningful piece for Buddhist altar spaces, meditation rooms, shrine tables, and spiritual decor. It measures 20.5cm in height, 14.5cm in length, and 10.5cm in width, with a weight of 0.98kg. The golden finish, painted facial features, and calm seated form create a peaceful presence that supports devotion, mindfulness, and daily Dharma practice.

Shakyamuni Buddha is shown seated in a meditative posture upon a lotus base, representing purity and the path toward awakening. His right hand reaches downward in the Bhumisparsha Mudra, the earth touching gesture that recalls the moment of his enlightenment under the Bodhi tree. His left hand rests gently in his lap, holding an alms bowl, symbolizing renunciation, discipline, and spiritual nourishment. The serene face, dark blue hair, ushnisha, painted robe, and balanced posture reflect the traditional iconography of the historical Buddha.

In Buddhist practice, Shakyamuni Buddha represents wisdom, compassion, inner peace, and liberation from suffering. Placing this statue on an altar, shrine, meditation corner, or Dharma practice space can serve as a reminder of clarity, patience, and the awakened path. It is also a thoughtful spiritual gift for practitioners, collectors, or anyone seeking a sacred symbol of enlightenment and peaceful awareness.

Introduction of Shakyamuni Buddha

Siddhartha Gautama, born the crown prince of the powerful Shakya Kingdom, was raised as a king according to his royal father's wishes. Around age 29, he became aware of humanity's immense suffering. He then renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune to seek the source of this anguish and find a cure. After more than six years of study, self-denial, and intense concentration, he finally achieved his objective, attaining nirvana and becoming a Buddha. Following this enlightenment, he stated that he had visited a deer park outside Varanasi, specifically Sarnath (Benares), India.
