About Our Product
This 24K Gold Plated Shakyamuni Buddha Statue is a sacred Buddhist artwork crafted from a copper body, finished with 24K gold plating, and detailed with acrylic color. Measuring 31.5 cm in height, 21 cm in length, and 15 cm in width, with a weight of 2.71 kg, this statue carries a serene presence for Buddhist altars, meditation rooms, shrine spaces, and spiritual home decor. Shakyamuni Buddha, the historical Buddha, represents enlightenment, wisdom, compassion, and the peaceful path of awakening.
The statue depicts Shakyamuni Buddha seated in meditation on a lotus base, wearing simple monastic robes that reflect renunciation and spiritual discipline. His right hand touches the earth in the Bhumisparsha Mudra, symbolizing the moment he called the earth to witness his enlightenment beneath the Bodhi tree. His left hand rests in meditation posture, expressing inner stillness and awakened awareness. The 24K gold plated finish highlights the face and body, while the acrylic colors add depth to the robes, hair, lotus seat, and sacred details.
In Buddhist practice, Shakyamuni Buddha is honored as the teacher who revealed the path beyond suffering through mindfulness, compassion, and wisdom. Placing this statue on an altar can support meditation, daily devotion, peaceful reflection, and the wish to cultivate enlightenment within one’s own heart. This traditional copper Buddha statue serves as a meaningful reminder of calmness, right intention, and the inner peace found through Dharma practice.
Introduction of Shakyamuni Buddha
Siddhartha Gautama was raised as a king, born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom, following his royal father's wishes. Around the age of 29, he became aware of humanity's immense suffering. He renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune to discover the source of this anguish and find a cure. After over six years of study, self-denial, and intense concentration, he finally achieved his objective, attaining nirvana and becoming a Buddha. He then taught in a deer park outside Sarnath (Benares), near Varanasi, India.
