About Our Statue
This Golden Himalayan Guru Tsokye Dorje Handmade Statue stands at 9.4”/24cm in height and 6.1”/15.5cm at the base, weighing 1.25 kg. Expertly handcrafted from a copper body, it is embellished with 24K gold gilding and detailed gold and acrylic paintings. Reflecting the exceptional craftsmanship of skilled Nepali artisans, this statue is ideal for altars, meditation spaces, or as a meaningful decor item. Its refined form and traditional artistry make it a powerful addition to any spiritual environment.
The statue depicts Guru Tsokye Dorje in his characteristic form, holding a vajra in his right hand, which symbolizes his indestructible power and compassion. In his left hand, he cradles a skull cup containing the vase of immortality, representing the nectar of wisdom and deathless realization. Resting against his left shoulder is the khaṭvāṅga trident, adorned with symbolic elements, signifying tantric power and the union of wisdom and method. He wears a distinct lotus-feather hat, identifying his enlightened awareness and mastery of spiritual lineages. Seated atop a moon disc base, he radiates serene strength, spiritual authority, and timeless insight.
Guru Tsokye Dorje is a revered tantric master and protector deity within Tibetan Buddhism, primarily known in the Nyingma tradition. He embodies the enlightened qualities of compassion, wisdom, and powerful spiritual protection. Often regarded as a manifestation of the Buddha’s enlightened activity, Guru Tsokye Dorje is invoked by practitioners to remove obstacles on the path to awakening and to deepen their realization. His presence inspires devotion, courage, and a commitment to spiritual growth, making him an essential figure in Himalayan Buddhist practice.
How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
