Introduction of the Butter Lamp Set

The primary purpose of any butter lamp is to offer light, dispelling darkness and bringing the radiance of knowledge. Traditionally, preparing a butter lamp begins with washing one’s hands and wearing a mask to prevent contamination from breath. A wick is made from pure cotton, and the chalices are cleaned with a cloth reserved for this purpose or fresh mosses, as was common in ancient times. This entire process becomes a meditative spiritual practice, engaging a person both physically and mentally, provided they understand and follow established norms.
