Description

Female Bodhisattva White Tara Empowerment Thangka

The White Tara Empowerment Thangka is exquisitely hand-painted on a cotton canvas using acrylic paintings in our studio. We have depicted the deity having a brilliantly white body, seated on a lotus seat upon a moon disc with three eyes on her face, which are also located on the soles of her feet and the palms of her hands. A glistening halo illuminates her face. The background with subtle color combination makes this art mesmerizing and calm to meditate upon. You can use this thangka painting for various purposes, such as in your regular meditation, Buddhist rituals, and even home décor.

White Tara is a meditational deity practiced by the Vajrayana practitioners. White Tara (also called Dolma) is the female Bodhisattva of Compassion. She embodies the motivation of compassion in action, bestowing blessings of mercy and release from suffering. She engenders, nourishes, smiles at the vitality of creation, and has sympathy for all beings as a mother does for her children.
