About Our Product
This Handcrafted Vajrakilaya Consort Statue embodies the transformative power, protection, and enlightened wrath of Vajrakilaya in Vajrayana Buddhist practice. Crafted from oxidized copper, the statue depicts Vajrakilaya entwined with his consort in a dynamic, multi-armed posture, surrounded by intricate flames of wisdom. Standing at 23.5 cm tall, this sacred figure is ideal for Buddhist altars, meditation rooms, shrine spaces, or collectors seeking a profound spiritual centerpiece.
Vajrakilaya, revered as the wrathful emanation of enlightened activity, subdues obstacles, negative forces, and spiritual blockages. Each arm holds ritual implements with deep symbolic meaning—vajras, phurbas, nooses, and skull cups—representing the union of method and wisdom, protection, and the removal of obstacles on the path to enlightenment. The entwined consort symbolizes the inseparable nature of compassion and insight, while the flame halo reflects his dynamic, transformative energy.
Placing this Vajrakilaya Consort statue on your altar encourages protection, inner strength, courage, and the removal of spiritual hindrances. It serves as a powerful focus for ritual practice, meditation, mantra recitation, and sacred offerings. This piece also makes a distinguished gift for practitioners, collectors, or anyone seeking a Buddhist symbol of wrathful wisdom, divine power, and profound spiritual transformation.
Introduction to Vajrakilaya
Vajrakilaya (Dorje Phurpa), also known as Vajrakumara (Dorje Zhonu, Youthful Vajra), is the wrathful Heruka deity that embodies the enlightened activity of all the Buddhas. Vajrakilaya is one of the eight Heruka deities of the Nyingma tantras. Vajrakilaya is also the personal meditational deity of Guru Padmasambhava. He practiced meditation on Vajrakilaya when many obstacles manifested before his display of attaining enlightenment.
