About Our Product

This Ceremonial Ritual Phurba represents protection, obstacle removal, spiritual focus, and the sacred power of Vajrayana Buddhist practice. Made with copper filigree, crystal, gold plating, and natural stone accents, this ritual phurba stands 69 cm tall with a length of 15.5 cm and a width of 13.5 cm, weighing 1.96 kg. Its tall ceremonial form makes it suitable for Buddhist altars, shrine rooms, meditation spaces, ritual displays, and sacred collections inspired by Tibetan Buddhist tradition.

The design features an elaborate vertical structure with detailed copper filigree work, gold plated ornamentation, crystal elements, and natural stone detailing. The upper section is decorated with wrathful deity faces, ritual forms, and layered symbolic motifs that reflect the protective energy of the phurba. In Vajrayana iconography, the phurba, also known as a kila or ritual dagger, is not viewed as an ordinary blade but as a sacred spiritual object used to symbolize the cutting of ignorance, negative forces, and inner obstacles.

Placing this ritual phurba on an altar encourages protection, clarity, discipline, and peaceful spiritual practice. It serves as a meaningful focus for meditation, mantra recitation, ritual offering, and practices connected with purification and obstacle removal. This Tibetan Buddhist ritual tool also makes a powerful sacred display piece for practitioners, collectors, or anyone seeking a symbol of Vajrayana protection, enlightened strength, and inner transformation.

Introduction To The Phurba :

The ceremonial dagger (Sanskrit: Kila; Tibetan: phurba) is essential for expelling evil and is considered particularly effective in neutralizing the forces obstructing Tantric Buddhist practice. It has ancient origins, first appearing in the Indian Rig Veda as the core blade of the vajra used by Indra to destroy the primordial cosmic snake Vritra. Kila, derived from Sanskrit, was most likely associated with Vedic sacrifices. Meditation on the Vajrakila Tantra, an early Indian scripture first promoted in Tibet in the eighth century by Padmasambhava, one of the founding teachers of Tibetan Buddhism, is used to invoke the three-headed Vajrakila Buddha.
