About Our Product
This Tibetan Kangling Ritual Instrument is a sacred Tibetan ceremonial tool, traditionally used in Buddhist rituals and tantric practices. Measuring 57cm in height with a width of 8–9cm and weighing 0.41 kg, it is expertly crafted from white metal, featuring intricate carvings and ornamental detailing that reflect the spiritual artistry of the Himalayan region. The design balances elegance with ritual significance, making it both a ceremonial instrument and a symbolic object of spiritual invocation.
The kangling, a traditional trumpet-like instrument, is often associated with transformation, calling protective deities, and guiding offerings during rituals. Its elongated design allows for a resonant sound that is believed to purify the environment, attract auspicious energies, and support meditation and tantric ceremonies. The intricate metalwork, including delicate inlays and sculptural embellishments, emphasizes the sacred nature of the instrument and its connection to Tibetan Buddhist spiritual heritage.
This ritual instrument is ideal for spiritual practitioners, meditation rooms, temples, or sacred spaces where ceremonial sound and symbolic presence are valued. It can also serve as a collectible item representing Himalayan craftsmanship and ritual tradition. The kangling embodies both functional ritual use and decorative beauty, offering a meaningful connection to Buddhist ritual practices and Himalayan spiritual art.
Introduction of Kangling
A Buddhist kangling is a unique and significant ritual implement used in Tibetan Buddhism ceremonies. It is crafted from the femur of a sacrificed animal, typically a cow, and features intricate silverwork with elaborate designs. The kangling produces a hauntingly beautiful sound when played, often described as a wailing or screaming sound, which is believed to dispel negativity, purify the environment, and aid in meditation. Its use in rituals is deeply rooted in spiritual practice, and the kangling holds great importance for monks and practitioners seeking to connect with the divine through sound and ceremony.

Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 5 / 5 from 467 reviews.
The level of craftsmanship by the artisans with Evam Ratna is truly exceptional.. The photos on the website showcase these beautiful items, but the special quality of their presence is felt when beheld directly. When I opened the carefully constructed package and encountered the ghanta, vajra,, rupa, and damaru tassels directly, I was overjoyed. I could feel the heart and care that went into their creation.

Handcrafted Traditional Bhumba | Sacred Ritual Offering Vessel
Looks and feels great 👍
Really enjoyed my experience receiving our Tonka.. We were more than happy with how ours came out! You will be too...
The Manjushri statue I purchased is of very high quality and has tremendous presence on my altar, far exceeding my expectations. It was well packed and arrived surprisingly quickly. Evam Ratna kept me informed throughout the process and even shared additional photos before shipping to ensure I was aware that the statue had oxidized somewhat since the pictures on the site were taken (not an issue but really appreciate the transparency). Thanks again for the beautiful statue -- I'll be a frequent visitor to the website in the future!
The statue came in excellent condition! I was worried especially since I had it consecrated before shipping (which evamratna offers for a fee if you ask!) But the statue came perfectly. Also, it was way bigger than I anticipated which was a lovely surprise, because usually the statues come smaller than I thought when initially buying them. These statues are pricy, but I recommend having at least one in your collection if you can afford it. You’re also supporting local Nepalese craftsmen, and the price I find is reasonable for most people.
Beautiful statue!
The Communication was very good, friendly and supportive. The Beautiful Buddha Statue was very good packed and arrived safely. The Buddha Statue Looks exactly as showed in the Pictures. We also received a response to our question how old the Statue is and Where It was Made.We Highly recommend EvamRatna as a relieable Company with Experience and Personal Care.

I am truly satisfied with the purchase of this Buddhist Prayer Wheel. The beautiful embossed writing is Davanagari, the Sanskrit/Nepali alphabet also used in Tibet. The formula it reads is the classic mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum." This Prayer Wheel's unique feature is the inclusion of sacred figures that represent various aspects of spiritual life with precise meanings. The service I received was impeccable, attentive to my needs, punctual, and always very friendly. I thank Shreya for this attention. I recommend EvamRatna for the extraordinary workmanship of the items for sale. Kind Regards, Enrico Battistotti.
