Introduction To Shakyamuni Buddha :
Buddha Shakyamuni is depicted in the center of this thangka. He is seated on a moon disc lotus seat with a crossed leg. His right hand is in the earth torching mudra, while his left hand rests on his lap, carrying a begging bowl with a clam face.
