Mother Yeshe Tsogyal Thangka, principle consort of Guru Padmasambhava
Mother Yeshe Tsogyal who is also the main consort of Guru Padmasambhava. A transcendent woman in Tibetan Buddhism, she is understood as a fully enlightened Buddha who taking on the form of an ordinary woman for ordinary people to approach. In our thangkas, we try to follow the Buddhist messages and iconography details to present attributes suitable for your Vajrayana practice.

Note: Mother Yeshe Tsogyal Thangka is an original painting from Enlightenment Studio located at Boudha Stupa.
Yeshe Tsogyal whose name means translates to “wisdom ocean queen,” and her blessing is associated with the development of true nondual wisdom in our practice. She appears on three different levels in Tibetan Buddhism; in a physically embodied human form (nirmanakaya), she appears as the princess of Kharchen. In a visionary, symbolic body (sambhogakaya), she is known as Vajrayogini In her most subtle form (dharmakaya), she is Samantabhadri, the feminine aspect of the original Buddha Samantabhadra.

CONSECRATION OF THANGKA
As requested for consecrations/blessings, we can take thangka to Monasteries/Rinpoches from nearby Boudha Stupa. We kindly ask you to offer $20 for the monasteries for blessings/consecration service.
