Mother Green Tara | Bodhisattva Deity Thangka

SKU: 20050

Description

Mother Green Tara, Bodhisattva Deity Thangka

Mother Green Tara, seated in a lalita pose, has been painted elegantly in this thangka by the artist. In Bodhisattva deity's left hand, she holds an utpala, a sign of purity, while her right-hand grants mudra. Her Bodhisattva activity is rapid; like the wind element, her color is green. Because she is eager to respond to individuals who need her assistance, her right hand is in varada mudra. Her jewelry and ornaments are a perfect match for her elegant gaze. She wears multicolored and heavily patterned silks on her lower torso. A long white scarf flows through her body like a wind. The background of where she is portrayed is a river with waves and a dark sky.
