About our Statue:
Honor Tibetan Buddhism's rich history with this stunning 8.3-inch statue of Marpha Statue, a Symbol of Wisdom—the renowned teacher, academic, and transmitter of Vajrayana wisdom. This sculpture, crafted from copper by esteemed artisans in Nepal, is beautifully adorned with 24K gold gilding and hand-painted embellishments that bring Marpa's tranquil wisdom to life.
Marpa is seen in a calm, contemplative stance atop a two-tiered cushion, wearing layered robes beautifully carved with ancient designs and sacred symbols. His presence exudes power, intelligence, and spiritual authority, making him a great addition to any altar, meditation area, or devotional place.
This handcrafted item, which is both lightweight and symbolically strong, pays homage to one of Tibetan Buddhism's most essential characters and is ideal for practitioners who value the Kagyu lineage and its direct realization teachings.
Marpa (1012–1097), also known as Marpa Lotsawa, was a renowned Tibetan Buddhist teacher and translator. His most well-known contributions are his translations of numerous significant Buddhist texts from Sanskrit into Tibetan and his role as Milarepa's teacher. Marpa studied under renowned gurus in India and Nepal, making many trips there and returning with a wealth of knowledge and techniques that would have a big impact on Tibetan Buddhism. His life is a prime example of how to combine intense spiritual practice with rigorous academic study. The Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism was founded on the translation and dissemination of the teachings by Marpa.
Introduction To Marpha :
As you can see, Marpa Lotsawa (1012–1097), also known as Lhodrak Marpa Choski Lodos or simply Marpa "the Translator," was a Tibetan Buddhist teacher who brought many Vajrayana teachings from India to Tibet, including the Mahamudra teachings and their lineages. The master's clothing is adorned with traditional Tibetan adornment.
How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.

Start ShoppingI had a wonderful experience purchasing a Sri Yantra brass wall hanging from this seller. The product is beautiful, well-crafted, and exactly what I was looking for. The seller’s service was excellent from start to finish.
The packaging was done with great care, and the item arrived safely in a well-protected wooden box. I really appreciated the attention to detail, especially for such a special and delicate piece. The shipment also arrived on time, which made the whole experience even better.
I highly recommend this seller to anyone looking for quality products, careful packaging, and reliable service. I am very happy with my purchase and would gladly buy from them again.
Looks and feels great 👍
Really enjoyed my experience receiving our Tonka.. We were more than happy with how ours came out! You will be too...
The statue came in excellent condition! I was worried especially since I had it consecrated before shipping (which evamratna offers for a fee if you ask!) But the statue came perfectly. Also, it was way bigger than I anticipated which was a lovely surprise, because usually the statues come smaller than I thought when initially buying them. These statues are pricy, but I recommend having at least one in your collection if you can afford it. You’re also supporting local Nepalese craftsmen, and the price I find is reasonable for most people.
Beautiful statue!
