About Our Product
This Handmade Tibetan Enlightenment Stupa is a beautifully handcrafted Buddhist shrine object made from copper, electro gold plating, silver plating, and adorned with coral and turquoise gemstones. Measuring 50 cm in height and 23.5 cm in both length and width, this 3.9 kg altar piece carries a majestic presence for Buddhist shrines, meditation rooms, temple spaces, and spiritual home decor. Its radiant golden details, silver plated steps, and colorful gemstone accents create a sacred appearance that reflects devotion, purity, and the path toward awakening.
The design is richly decorated with auspicious motifs, lotus inspired patterns, raised ornamental carvings, and jewel like accents placed across the base, steps, canopy, and upper spire. The square foundation, stepped structure, central shrine chamber, and elegant top finial represent the traditional form of a Buddhist stupa, while the flowing gold plated details bring depth and spiritual beauty to the piece. Skilled artisans have carefully shaped and finished each section, allowing the copper body, silver plated surfaces, coral, and turquoise to come together in a graceful expression of Himalayan craftsmanship.
In Buddhist tradition, a stupa represents the enlightened mind of the Buddha and serves as a sacred reminder of wisdom, compassion, peace, and liberation. Placing an Enlightenment Stupa on an altar is believed to inspire merit, mindfulness, protection, and positive spiritual energy. This sacred Buddhist stupa invites the practitioner to reflect on the journey from suffering to clarity, making it a meaningful support for meditation, devotion, and the peaceful pursuit of enlightenment.
Introduction of Stupa
Before Buddhism, great teachers were buried in mounds. Some were cremated, but sometimes they were buried in a seated, meditative position. The mound of earth covered them up. Thus, the domed shape of the stupa came to represent a person seated in meditation, much as the Buddha was when he achieved Enlightenment and knowledge of the Four Noble Truths. The base of the stupa represents his crossed legs as he sat in a meditative pose. The middle portion is the Buddha’s body, and the top of the mound, where a pole rises from the apex surrounded by a small fence, represents his head. Before images of the human Buddha were created, reliefs often depicted practitioners demonstrating devotion to a stupa.
