Guru Rinpoche, Buddha Of Vajrayana Thangka with Chenrezig and Amitabha on top
The Thangka portrays Guru Rinpoche, Buddha of Vajrayana. Guru Rinpoche is seated quietly and wearing a monk's cap in our artist's Thangka. He sits on a lotus with a vajra in his right hand and a skull cup in his left. His inner clothing is white, representing the mind's bright light aspect, while his outer garment is brown, meaning his sacrifice. With lush slopes and water flowing from the mountains towards the lake, the Thangka emanates azure water filled with lotus and a giant lotus for Guru.
On the top is the compassion Bodhisattva Chenrezig and Amitabha

Guru Padmasambhava, also known as Guru Rinpoche (the Precious Guru), is a Buddhist figure who played a vital role in the establishment of Vajrayana Buddhism in Tibet in the 8th century CE. Although not frequently recognized, there were initially three schools of Buddhism: Hinayana (today known as Theravada), Mahayana, and Vajrayana.
