About Our Statue :
This Garuda statue is crafted from copper and finished with a gold plating. The figurine, which measures 8.5 cm in height and 8 cm in breadth and weighs 0.15 kg, depicts Garuda in his magnificent, winged form, representing speed, power, and divine protection. In Buddhist and Hindu beliefs, Garuda is revered as the perpetual foe of nagas (serpent spirits) and as Lord Vishnu's mount or vehicle.
In Tibetan Buddhism, the Garuda symbolizes courageous clarity and swift action against harmful energies. His spread wings, blazing hair, and furious stare provide a sense of strength and spiritual authority. As a guardian figure, Garuda is particularly revered for his ability to ward off disease, psychic disturbances, and obstacles on the path to enlightenment.
Aside from its majestic beauty, this monument embodies Garuda's fabled might and protection, acting as a guardian against negative energies and ensuring spiritual ascendancy for its viewers.
Introduction To The Garuda :
Garuda is a gigantic bird of prey in Buddhism. They are also known as Suparna at times. This translates to "good wings, good wings." They, like the Nagas, mix the attributes of animals and sacred beings and are the lowest of the Devas. Garuda has rulers and towns, and some have the magical ability to turn into human shapes while dealing with humans.
How do you take care of your statues?
Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is completely free of moisture and dust.
Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching with the bare hand objects can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
