About Our Statue :
Four-armed Chenrezig, also known as Avalokiteshvara, is the Bodhisattva of Compassion. He embodies all Buddhas' unlimited love and mercy. This 10cm tall and 7cm broad gold electroplated copper statue shows his four-armed form, indicating his commitment to enlightening all beings. Chenrezig, a respected character in Tibetan Buddhism, is the perfect addition to meditation rooms, personal altars, or spiritual home decor.
The deity sits on a moon-disc lotus throne. A crystal rosary in the upper right hand represents the endless cycle of life, death, and regeneration. The lotus in the upper left hand depicts the deity's role in helping mankind overcome difficulty and unpleasant conditions, such as infernal realms. The lower hands are softly placed in a namaste position, holding a wish-fulfilling Jewel. The deity's mild and peaceful look represents compassion and tranquility.
Introduction to Chenresig
Chenresig epitomizes the bodhisattva's determination to delay attaining Buddhahood until he has assisted every sentient being on Earth in achieving freedom from pain and the cycle of death and rebirth. His name has been translated as "the lord who observes in all directions." The practice of Chenresigs encouraged the development of a calm and comencourages heart. Compassion is the root foundation for excess, which is the Buddhist path. He listens to the prayers of all sentient beings in times of challenge and difficulty.
How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is completely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a
glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. -Directly touching with the bare hand objects can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
