About our statue :

This bronze Divine Bird Garuda Statue reflects the essence of one of the most powerful deities in Hindu and Buddhist mythology. Garuda is revered for his strength, protection, and devotion, serving as Lord Vishnu's mount in Hinduism and a symbol of divine might. This small bronze figure, measuring 11 cm in height and 7 cm in width, is a timeless addition to any sacred space or home. The meticulous craftsmanship highlights Garuda's magnificent wings and stance, providing a sense of security and spiritual vitality in any setting.

Garuda is portrayed as a majestic being that embodies both bird and human characteristics, symbolizing celestial strength and a deep commitment to safeguarding the Dharma and its followers. His body is often adorned with feathers, typically intricately designed to convey his royal and divine essence. His golden wings, spread wide, signify his ability to rise above limitations and his role as a protector, swiftly guiding practitioners beyond the snares of ignorance and sorrow. His sharp talons and powerful demeanor reflect his readiness to defend against threats, especially from nagas (serpent creatures) and other malevolent forces.

Introduction to Garuda :

In Buddhism, the garuda is a gigantic bird of prey. It is sometimes known as Suparna, which translates to "good wings, good wings." Like the Nagas, the garudas combine the attributes of animals and sacred beings and are the lowest of the Devas. They have rulers and towns, and some have the magical ability to transform into human shapes when dealing with humans.

How do take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is completely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching with the bare hand objects can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
