The Karmapa is the spiritual leader of the Karma Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism. The presence of a Karmapa statue is believed to enhance meditation, offer protection, and deepen one’s connection to the Buddhist teachings, also known as the Dharma. Crafted by expert artisans, this item embodies the rich traditions of Himalayan Buddhism, making it a valuable addition to altars, meditation spaces, or sacred collections.

Karmapa is the embodiment of all Buddha actions or the one who engages in Buddha activity. Great enlightened Buddhist masters are said to be able to consciously control their reincarnation in the Tibetan tradition, allowing them to continue their work for the benefit of all sentient beings. The appearance of a Buddhist master, known as the Karmapa, had been foretold by the historical Buddha Shakyamuni and the renowned Indian tantric master, Guru Padmasambhava, before the birth of the first Karmapa.

Introduction To The Karmapa

The Buddhist Karmapa statue embodies serenity and wisdom. Seated in meditation posture, it features the Karmapa's compassionate gaze and gentle smile. Adorned in traditional robes, the statue radiates tranquility, inspiring devotees to seek enlightenment and compassion. Its hand gestures symbolize profound teachings and the cycle of rebirth. A masterpiece of art and spirituality, the Karmapa statue serves as a reminder of the path to liberation and the interconnection of all beings.

How do you take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
• Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
