About Our Statue :
This Oxidized Copper Statue of Green Tara is a majestic portrayal of the beloved goddess, handmade from oxidized copper. It is 15cm tall, 11.5cm wide at the base, and weighs 0.83kg, making it an addition to your spiritual altar, meditation room, or holy decor. The rusted copper finish gives the statue a distinct, ageless appearance while underlining its spiritual value.
The statue captures Green Tara in her signature lotus throne, with one foot extended to symbolize her readiness to help sentient beings in need. Her multiple arms are gracefully posed, holding symbolic objects such as the lotus flower, a symbol of purity, and the cylinder, which signifies the removal of obstacles. Her serene facial expression and detailed features reflect her nurturing energy, while her flaming crown symbolizes her enlightened wisdom. The delicate detailing on the statue’s robes and the intricate lotus base further highlight the masterful craftsmanship of this beautiful piece.
This Green Tara statue is ideal for those seeking to invite compassion, healing, and protection into their lives. It is perfect for Hindu altars, Buddhist prayer rooms, meditation practices, or as a meaningful gift for loved ones. Whether used in rituals or spiritual practices, or displayed as a decorative item, this statue will bring divine energy, peace, and clarity to any space.
Introduction to Green Tara:
Green Tara, also known as Shyamatara, holds a special place in Tibetan Buddhism as the embodiment of active compassion and swift assistance. Legend has it that she sprang from a tear of Avalokiteshvara, the Bodhisattva of Compassion, earning her the title "Mother of Liberation." Known for her ability to clear obstacles, shield from danger, and bring healing, Green Tara is the go-to guardian for those facing hardship, anxiety, or trouble, always ready to offer swift and loving support when it’s needed most.
How Do You Take Care of Your Statues?
- Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
- Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
- Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
- Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
- Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
Consecration Service Available
Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.
Please note: Once consecrated, the statue becomes a sacred object and cannot be returned or refunded.
