About Our Product
This Historic Shakyamuni Buddha Statue is a beautifully crafted representation of the historical Buddha, symbolizing enlightenment, wisdom, and inner peace. Made from a copper body with 24K gold plating and detailed acrylic color work, the statue reflects traditional Himalayan craftsmanship through its serene facial expression, monastic robes, and balanced meditative posture. The elegant lotus base further enhances its sacred presence, making it a meaningful centerpiece for Buddhist altars, meditation rooms, and spiritual home decor.
Shakyamuni Buddha is depicted seated in the earth touching mudra, also known as Bhumisparsha Mudra, symbolizing the moment of awakening beneath the Bodhi tree when he called the earth to witness his enlightenment. In his left hand, he gently holds an alms bowl representing renunciation, mindfulness, and spiritual nourishment. The calm expression, elongated ears, and refined robe patterns embody compassion, clarity, and the path toward liberation from suffering.
This Buddhist meditation statue creates a peaceful atmosphere for daily prayer, mindfulness, yoga practice, and contemplation. Its harmonious blend of gold tones and rich acrylic detailing reflects devotion, sacred artistry, and spiritual serenity. Ideal for shrine spaces, personal altars, and Himalayan art collections, this Shakyamuni Buddha sculpture serves as a reminder of wisdom, compassion, and the journey toward enlightenment.
Introduction to Shakyamuni Buddha :
Siddhartha Gautama was raised as a king in accordance with the wishes of his royal father and was born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom. When he was about 29 years old, he learned of people's immense suffering. He renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune in order to discover the source of the anguish and find a cure. After over six years of study, self-denial, and tremendous concentration, he finally achieved his objective. He had attained nirvana (a Buddha). He then asserted that he had visited a deer park outside of Varanasi, India's Sarnath (Benares).
