About Our Statue :

This Himalayan Shakyamuni Buddha Sculpture depicts the historical Buddha, Siddhartha Gautama, sitting in deep concentration. His right hand is in the earth-touching mudra, signifying the moment of enlightenment under the Bodhi tree, while his left hand is holding a medicine bowl, which represents healing, wisdom, and inner balance. A brilliant arch of beautifully carved aureole encircles his figure, heightening the sacred presence of this cherished spiritual image.

This sculpture, handcrafted from a copper body and beautifully gold-plated, stands 11cm tall and 8.5cm wide and weighs 0.23kg. The flowing monastic robes and peaceful, compassionate expression are examples of artisan-level precision in traditional Himalayan craftsmanship. The beautifully polished lotus base and delicate facial features provide a strong spiritual and visual presence, making it an ideal centerpiece for your altar, shrine, or meditation place.

This Shakyamuni Buddha statue is ideal for individuals seeking to connect with mindfulness, healing, and the original teachings of Buddhism. Whether used for personal meditation, as a sacred home altar piece, or as a thoughtful gift, it is a constant reminder of peace, compassion, and enlightenment.

Introduction to Shakyamuni Buddha :

Siddhartha Gautama was raised as a king following the wishes of his royal father and was born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom. At about 29, he learned of the immense suffering of others. He renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune to discover the source of the anguish and find a cure. After over six years of study, self-denial, and tremendous concentration, he finally achieved his objective. He had attained nirvana (a Buddha). He then asserted that he had visited a deer park outside Varanasi, India's Sarnath (Benares).

How do you take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. • Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
