About Our Product
This magnificent Crown Shakyamuni Buddha with Altar Box is a highly detailed example of Tibetan Vajrayana craftsmanship, handcrafted from copper and adorned with vibrant acrylic color, lapis lazuli, turquoise, and hand-carved gemstone inlays. The crowned form of Shakyamuni represents the Buddha in his enlightened and celestial aspect, emphasizing his role not only as a historical teacher but as a fully awakened spiritual sovereign. His earth-touching mudra marks the moment of enlightenment, symbolizing triumph over ignorance and the grounding of wisdom.
The throne itself is architecturally rich and carries profound symbolism. The Five Dhyani Buddhas are not positioned externally, but are carefully integrated into the throne’s jeweled backrest and shrine framework. These sacred figures—Vairocana, Akshobhya, Ratnasambhava, Amitabha, and Amoghasiddhi—represent the five wisdoms that transform human emotions into enlightened awareness. Their placement within the throne signifies that Shakyamuni embodies all five aspects of transcendent wisdom. The intricate filigree patterns, gemstone settings, protective creatures at the base, and the central treasure vase motif further emphasize prosperity, spiritual protection, and awakened consciousness.
This Tibetan Buddha shrine is a complete symbolic composition rather than a simple statue. The layered throne design resembles a sacred palace structure, representing the enlightened realm. The combination of gemstone inlay, lapis lazuli accents, and turquoise detailing enhances both its spiritual depth and visual richness. Ideal for a Buddhist altar, meditation space, or serious art collection, this Crown Shakyamuni statue radiates authority, wisdom, and the integrated power of the Five Buddha families.
Introduction of Crown Shakyamuni Buddha With Altar Box
Amitabha Buddha is revered for his longevity and accumulation of purification, possessing a deep awareness of the emptiness of all phenomena. He worked tirelessly for five eons before attaining enlightenment and becoming a Buddha. Amitabha is a Buddhist deity symbolizing compassion and wisdom.
How Do You Take Care of Your Statues?
- Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
- Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
- Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
- Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
- Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
Consecration Service Available
Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.
Please note: Once consecrated, the statue becomes a sacred object and cannot be returned or refunded.
