White Tara is depicted with seven eyes, which represent her caring alertness, and make her apart. Aside from the two usual eyes, she has a third eye on her forehead, one on each hand, and one on the soles of her feet. Her graceful appearance and elegant design make this statue a powerful symbol of healing, compassion, and protection, inviting longevity and good health to those who revere her.

White Tara, a prominent figure in Tibetan Buddhism, is known as the goddess of compassion and longevity. She is said to have emerged from the tears of Avalokiteshvara, representing his deep compassion for the suffering of sentient beings. White Tara’s role is to bring healing, protection, and long life. Her seven eyes symbolize all-seeing wisdom, offering blessings for both physical and spiritual well-being. Her compassionate nature serves as a poignant reminder of selfless care and a genuine desire to alleviate suffering.

How do you take care of your statues?

•    Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
•    Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
•    Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
•    Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
