About Our Statue:
This handcrafted Buddhist Amogasiddhi statue beautifully represents the Buddha of Fearlessness and Spiritual Power. Standing 8 cm tall and 5.5 cm wide, this copper body statue captures the essence of Amogasiddhi’s serene yet powerful presence. His right hand holds a sword, symbolizing the cutting through of ignorance and obstacles, while his left hand forms the Abhaya Mudra, offering protection and reassurance to those who seek it.
The Buddha is depicted seated atop a moon disc lotus seat. His right hand forms the "Abhaya mudra," or the mudra of fearlessness, symbolizing his protection and dispelling of fear, and his left hand carries an alms bowl, an indication of the monastic life he led. The intricate details our artists have spent several months on this statue will catch the eye and imbue any space with a sense of calm and serenity.
Introduction of Amogasiddhi
In Tibetan Buddhism, Amogasiddhi is one of the Five Dhyani Buddhas, revered as the embodiment of wisdom in all-pervasive activity. He is often depicted holding a vase, symbolizing the vessel of wisdom that overflows with enlightened qualities. His mantra, Om Vajra Sahaya Hum, is believed to invoke the power of achievement and the removal of obstacles. Practitioners meditate on Amogasiddhi to develop unshakable confidence and to overcome inner and outer challenges on the path to enlightenment.
