About Our Statue :

This enlightened Buddha Shakyamuni statue is a beautiful representation of spiritual enlightenment, made from lapis lazuli, a deep blue stone that adds an air of tranquility and reverence to its design. Standing at 9 cm in height and 8 cm in width, the statue weighs just 0.200 kg, making it a compact yet powerful addition to any collection. The serene expression on the Buddha's face conveys a deep sense of calm and wisdom as he sits in a contemplative posture. His eyes are closed, emphasizing the deep meditation he is engaged in, and his face exudes peace and insight.

The Buddha is depicted with his right hand in bhumisparsha mudra, touching the earth, symbolizing his moment of enlightenment. His left hand is held in dhyana mudra, the meditation gesture representing his path to enlightenment through deep contemplation. Seated upon a single petal lotus seat, the symbol of purity and spiritual awakening, the Buddha also has an urna (the dot on his forehead) adorned with U-shaped earrings, adding to his regal yet serene presence. This statue captures the core of Shakyamuni Buddha’s teachings and is a perfect reminder of the pursuit of wisdom and inner peace.

Introduction to Shakyamuni Buddha :

Siddhartha Gautama was raised as a king in accordance with the wishes of his royal father and was born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom. When he was about 29 years old, he learned of people's immense suffering. He renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune in order to discover the source of the anguish and find a cure. After over six years of study, self-denial, and tremendous concentration, he finally achieved his objective. He had attained nirvana (a Buddha). He then asserted that he had visited a deer park outside of Varanasi, India's Sarnath (Benares).

How do you take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is completely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. • Directly touching with the bare hand objects can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
