About Our Product

This handcrafted Vajrasattva statue measures 16 cm tall and 13 cm wide, weighing 0.6 kilograms. It features a copper body with 24K gold plating and acrylic color. Created by skilled Nepali artisans, this piece embodies the serene presence of Vajrasattva, making it ideal for meditation spaces, altars, or spiritual collections.

Vajrasattva is depicted seated in the vajrasana pose (diamond posture) atop a moon disc lotus base, symbolizing purity and spiritual awakening. He holds a vajra in his right hand, representing indestructible compassion, and a bell in his left hand, symbolizing emptiness (śūnyatā). Adorned with a five-pointed crown, he embodies the enlightened qualities of the Five Dhyani Buddhas. His serene expression and meditative posture reflect inner peace and a capacity for transformation through purification practices.

Introduction of Vajrasattva

Vajrasattva is typically regarded as the second patriarch in the Shingon Buddhist lineage, preceded by Vairocana Buddha. According to Kukai's writings in the Record of the Dharma Transmission, Nagarjuna encountered Vajrasatva in an iron tower in southern India, as Amoghavajra attests. As recounted in the Mahavairocana Sutra, Vajrasatva inducted Nagarjuna into the abhiseka ceremony and entrusted him with the esoteric teachings he had gained from Vairocana Buddha. Kukai doesn't provide detailed information on Vajrasatva or his origins.

How Do You Take Care of Your Statues?
  • Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
  • Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
  • Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
  • Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
  • Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
Consecration Service Available

Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.

Please note: Once consecrated, the statue becomes a sacred object and cannot be returned or refunded.
