Powerful Vaishravana Deity – Tibetan Wealth Guardian Riding Snow Lion with Victory Banner

This thangka of the Vaishravana deity is meticulously created in a traditional style. It is hand-painted on fine cotton canvas using premium acrylic colors and embellished with genuine 24K gold. The rich green background offers a calming yet eye-catching setting, allowing the central figure to stand out with remarkable clarity. The gold highlights the deity's crown, jewels, and sacred ornaments, giving them a divine brightness that subtly changes with the light. The artist has expertly layered the acrylic colors to provide depth, dimension, and smooth color transitions. Every brushstroke on the canvas reflects careful technique, self-control, and spiritual intent, creating a piece of art that is both profoundly significant and captivating.

In Buddhist cosmology, Vaishravana, known as Kubera, is the god of wealth, prosperity, and protection, as well as the guardian king of the north. He is depicted sitting on a snow lion, symbolizing courage and strength. His calm yet fierce expression conveys his ability to overcome challenges and his role as a kind benefactor. In his right hand, he holds a victory banner (dhvaja), representing triumph over negativity and ignorance. In his left hand, he holds a mongoose that spews priceless gems, signifying the endless supply of wealth and abundance that awaits those who walk the path of righteousness. With his richly adorned golden body and radiant crown of jewels, Vaishravana embodies both regal authority and spiritual protection, making this thangka an ideal focus for meditation, blessings, and prosperity.
